Share NIB In Lampung, Erick Thohir Makes SURE Work Growth And Opening Continues

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir emphasized the BUMN's alignment with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Erick said MSMEs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy that must be maintained.

This was conveyed by Erick after attending the event of the provision of the Business Identification Number (NIB) for Individual Micro and Small Business Actors (UMK) at the Graha Adora Building, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung, Thursday, December 1. Erick, who came with the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan and Deputy Governor of Lampung Chusnunia Chalim, wanted to ensure Lampung's economic growth could continue to increase significantly.

"We agree to continue to maintain and ensure that the creation of job opportunities and support for MSMEs, either through the NIB program or funding," said Erick.

The man who was born in Jakarta sees MSMEs as a supporter of the national economy teacher as having an important role and facing the challenges of a global recession next year. BUMN as a third of Indonesia's economic strength, said Erick, from the start was committed to assisting and encouraging MSME players to be able to advance to class.

"We know that there are many recession issues next year, meaning we have to work together, ensure job opening and financing support for MSMEs. Pak Zul and Mrs. Deputy Governor find clear markets for trading, all permits are made easier, so that's what we do," he said.

Erick conveyed that the provision of NIB is also an effort by the government to increase the scale of MSMEs so that they can join a larger BUMN or private ecosystem. Through this program, continued Erick, MSME players also get access to participate in a number of empowerment programs to the People's Business Credit (KUR) program.

"We must overcome these challenges, we must not avoid them. If we as leaders and ministers avoid, the people are difficult. So we have to overcome them," said Erick.
