Holding BUMN Tourism InJourney Will Be Beautiful Labuan Bajo To Manage Puncak Waringin

JAKARTA - Holding a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) Aviation and Tourism, InJourney will build and beautify a number of points in the super priority tourism destination Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

This step aims to achieve the target of 1 million to 1.5 million foreign tourist visits to Labuan Bajo every year.

InJourney's Director of Marketing and Tourism Program, Maya Watono noted that to achieve this target, her party will beautify Labuan Bajo.

The goal is to attract domestic and international tourists.

"So Labuan Bajo is one of the best in the world, so it's really beautiful. So we want this beauty to be exposed to domestic and international tourists, so there are indeed seaborne attractions, but there are also attractions on land," Maya said, at a press conference at the InJourney office, Sarinah, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 30.

Furthermore, Maya said that her party will also open a new area on Rinca Island.

This area is included in the Komodo National Park area.

Maya added that the opening of the new area would add to the list of tours in the Komodo Island area.

"Our Komodo also has a development plan, where we will open another area on Rinca Island. So Komodo Island is on Rinca Island, where later we will make different access to Rinca Island. So later the ecosystem will be formed," he explained. The management of Puncak Waringin

Not only that, Maya said, InJourney will also manage Puncak Waringin, an area that is touted as the best place in West Manggarai Regency, NTT.

Furthermore, Maya said, the management of Puncak Waringin will involve the local provincial government (Pemprov), namely East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Maya also ensured that this area would be integrated with the Marina area. The Marina area is divided into five zones which include Zone 1 Bukit Pramuka, Zone 2 Kampung Air, Zone 3 Pier, Zone 4 Marina Beach area (Inaya Bay), Zone 5 Ujung Village.

"We will also manage the Waringin peak, cooperate with the provincial government, where this will become a unit with Marina because Puncak Waringin is indeed good, going to the sea," he explained.

Maya said, her party will also involve the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) and the Coordinator for Maritime Affairs and Investment of Indonesia (Kemenko Marves) to build and beautify destinations in Labuan Bajo.
