Answer The Realm Of The United Nusantara Event, Erick: There Is No BUMN Fund Flow

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir has raised his voice regarding allegations of involvement by BUMN commissioners to the use of BUMN funds for the United Nusantara event at the Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) last week. Erick firmly denied the news.

"It has been answered that it is not true that there is a flow of funds from BUMN. Please check, if it does exist, I will arrest the directors," said Erick at the DPR Jakarta Building, Tuesday, November 29.

He conveyed that this rebuttal had also been conveyed by a number of members of the DPR. Erick said that SOEs are currently focusing on transforming and supporting the acceleration of national economic growth.

"Regarding the flow of funds, several members of the DPR have also spoken that it is not true," said the man who was born in Jakarta.

Since the beginning, Erick has instilled a moral foundation for all BUMN directors and commissioners. SOEs, continued Erick, uphold the values of professionalism and commitment in carrying out transformation.

"If the name is a commissioner at hours that are not the time (work hours), I can't (forbidden). Some participate in foundation activities, I can't prohibit this activity, but if it's during working hours, we have to commit," continued Erick.

Responding to allegations of corruption by BUMN, Erick emphasized that he would continue to maintain that the elimination of SOEs from corruption would continue. Actions to clean up Garuda Indonesia, Jiwasraya, and Asabri airlines can be an example of the firmness of the Ministry of SOEs in creating clean SOEs.

Erick invites all elements of society not to be provoked by accusations that only consume energy. Instead of throwing slander, Erick considered it better to prioritize mutual cooperation in encouraging Indonesia's economic growth in the future.

"Let's find a solution without causing conflict, we need checks and balances. Not the noise we are looking for," said Erick.
