Realization Of State Expenditures IDR 2,351 Trillion, Used To Purchase Anything?

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the realization of state spending until October 2022 had reached Rp2,351.1 trillion. This amount is equivalent to 75.7 percent of the ceiling set out in the 2022 State Budget of 3,106.4 trillion.

The Minister of Finance explained that the funds were absorbed in four main sectors. The first is for ministry and institution expenditure (K/L) of IDR 754.1 trillion.

"This organization is realized for the distribution of various social assistance programs in the PEN program, procurement of equipment/machines, road construction, irrigation, personnel expenditure (including the 13th salary and THR), as well as operational activities," he told the media crew, Thursday, November 24.

Second, non-ministerial and institutional expenditures amounted to Rp917.7 trillion. According to the Minister of Finance, the value of using non-K/L funds is higher than that of ministries and institutions, mainly due to compensation payments and energy subsidies.

"It is also used to pay retirees and health insurance for the community," he said.

Third, transfers to regions (TKD) worth IDR 679.2 trillion. It was stated that some types of TKD experienced an increase in distribution performance due to improved local government compliance.

The fourth is investment financing of IDR 77.9 trillion. This is mainly for the financing of the infrastructure sector in the completion of national strategic projects and financing the housing sector," he said.

Meanwhile, in terms of state revenue, it was recorded that Rp2,181.6 trillion was collected. This means that there is a state budget deficit of Rp169.5 trillion. The record was fiscal last month while breaking the positive trend of the APBN surplus which has been inscribed from January to September 2022.
