Lombok International Airport Achieves The 2022 Healthy Airport Predicate From The Ministry Of Health

JAKARTA - Lombok International Airport, West Nusa Tenggara managed to win the title as a Healthy Airport 2022 from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.

This award was handed over directly by Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono in the Giving Award for Environmental Health in 2022 which was held in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 23.

General Manager of Lombok Airport Rahmat Adil Indrawan in a written statement in Praya, Wednesday expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported the efforts and commitment of Lombok Airport in creating a healthy, safe, comfortable, and clean airport environment.

"We believe this award can be a motivation to continue to improve cleanliness and health in the Lombok Airport environment," he said, quoted from Antara, Thursday, November 24.

He said this award is an appreciation of the Ministry of Health for the support and commitment of airports in realizing a healthy environment that meets the criteria according to Minister of Health Regulation Number 44 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Healthy Ports and Airports.

The deployment of Port and Healthy Airport has been held five times since 2014 as a two-year routine agenda organized by the Ministry of Health.

"This award is the third time this has been won by Lombok Airport after previously getting it in 2018 and 2020," he said.

The aspects and indicators assessed in this award are in terms of implementing environmental health, structuring facilities and facilities. In addition, increasing clean and healthy living behavior, improving work safety and health, improving security and order, and institutional aspects.

"The assessment process is carried out through a virtual presentation and is supported by video documentation and field verification by an assessment team from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation, and professionally," he said.

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I Faik Fahmi said that apart from Lombok Airport, there were five other airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura I that managed to get the title of Healthy Airport 2022, namely General Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang, Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Juanda Airport Surabaya, Adi Sumarmo Airport Surakarta, and Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport Sepinggan Balikpapan.

"Six airports of PT Angkasa Pura I have won the title as a healthy airport this year," he said.

This award is a form of acknowledgment of our achievements and commitment in the implementation of healthy airports in all airport areas.

"This is a motivation to continue to ensure the consistent creation of a healthy culture and environment for all airports belonging to Angkasa Pura I," said Faik Fahmi.
