JAKARTA - Indonesian National Shipowners (INSA) together with the Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association (JSMEA) held the Indonesia-Japan Business Matching Forum 2022 in Jakarta, Thursday (17/11/2022).

At least 200 national shipping entrepreneurs will be met with the engine manufacturer and equipment of the ship from the country of America.

"In this business forum, members have the opportunity to improve their network and at the same time meet directly with Japanese manufacturers," said DPPINSA Chairman Sugiman Layanto to the media crew on the sidelines of the event.

According to Sugiman, by meeting directly with manufacturers who have been supplying machinery and various ship equipment, it is possible for Indonesian ship entrepreneurs to get competitive prices with high product quality. In addition, continued Sugiman, national shipping industry players are also exploring the procurement of environmentally friendly ship engines.

Chairman of JSMEAKinoshita Shigeki said the Business Matching Forum was the third time it was held in Indonesia.
