Trade Minister Zulhas Promotions Sail Tidore 2022 At The G20 Bali Summit

JAKARTA - Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan promoted the implementation of Sail Tidore 2022 on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Bali.

"The Ministry of Trade will hold Sail Tidore 2022. This biennial event, among others, aims to promote marine tourism while developing a sustainable coastal economy," said the Trade Minister in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 16.

The Minister of Trade emphasized that the implementation of the 2022 Sahil Tidore is a very effective means of promoting marine tourism as well as developing a sustainable coastal economy.

"Sail Tidore 2022 will be held in North Maluku on November 24-29, 2022," said the Minister of Trade in a meeting of the Indonesian Conservation Dialogue with the theme "Blended Finance to Advance Sustainable Oceans Management for Conservation & Production" which was held on Tuesday, November 15 in Badung Regency, Bali.

Also attending the event was the Chairman of the Indonesian Conservation Management, Meizani Irmadhiany.

The Minister of Trade revealed that the government led by President Joko Widodo is very concerned about the sustainability of the sea, both on the surface and under the sea to advance the economy of coastal communities.

"President Joko Widodo supports the implementation of Sail Tidore 2022 by attending the peak event which will be held on November 26," he added.

The Minister of Trade added that the sustainability of Indonesia's sustainable sea will contribute to the welfare of the people, especially in coastal areas.

"The Ministry of Trade is also responsible for ensuring the sustainability of the oceans. Marine sustainability will be able to provide a sustainable coastal community of welfare," he concluded.
