Sales Of Medium And Long Distance KAI Tickets For Christmas And New Year Holidays From Yogyakarta DAOPs Have Already Started

JAKARTA - Sales of train tickets for medium and long distance travel from the Yogyakarta Operational Area for the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays are sold in stages starting Monday 7 November. "Usually, we sell train tickets starting from H-30 departures but for the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays, tickets are sold starting from H-45 departures," said KAI Public Relations Manager for Operational Areas (Daop) 6 Yogyakarta Franoto Wibowo in Yogyakarta, as reported by Antara. According to him, ticket sales with a faster period are KAI's efforts to improve customer service by providing more free time for prospective passengers to plan trips during year-end holidays. Due to the longer ticket sales period, Franoto reminded prospective passengers to be more thorough in entering travel dates and routes as well as proper personal data. Meanwhile, the travel requirements during the Christmas and New Year 2023 Transportation periods are currently referring to the SE of the Ministry of Transportation Number 84 of 2022, namely that prospective passengers aged over 18 years must have undergone a booster dose of vaccination, while passengers aged 6-17 years must have undergone the second dose of vaccination. During the trip, Franoto emphasized that KAI will continue to carry out health protocols according to applicable regulations and appealed to passengers to keep wearing masks during the trip. " “ Passengers who do not meet the predetermined health protocol requirements will be rejected by train," he said. The 2023 Christmas and New Year's Transport Period is set for December 22 to January 8, 2023 and tickets can be purchased online through the KAI Access application or the KAI ticket sales page as well as all official partners selling train tickets. He also reminded prospective passengers to adjust their arrival time to the station so they don't miss the train because usually during the year-end holidays there is a traffic density.
