JAKARTA - SOE Minister Erick Thohir praised Telkom Indonesia's transformation of human resources so that the SOE became the only Indonesian company to be included in the Forbes 2022 World list "s Best Employer".

Meanwhile, in the category of the telecommunication and Services industry, Telkom ranks third in the world, outperforming Orange France, KT Korea, Telstra Australia, Etisalat UAE, Singtel Singapore.
"There is pride if you look at Indonesian companies, especially SOEs, that can be above a more well-known international company. This proves that we can compete on the global stage, as well as be able to grow, develop, and contribute to Indonesia," said Erick.
To determine the list, Forbes is collaborating with the Statista world market research agency which surveys 150,000 full-time and part-time employees, in multinational companies or agencies in 57 countries.
Respondents evaluated companies based on the influence and image of corporate brands, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility. Respondents must also rate how much they recommend the company they work for to relatives and colleagues.
"Thanks to the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners who were able to implement and internalize EVP at Telkom Indonesia. I hope it can be maintained, even improved so that the relationship between employees is more solid," said Erick.
