He said TPI Baturosa has an area of 5.2 hectares, which is the transfer of assets belonging to the Pangkalpinang City Government which is now managed by the Babel Islands Provincial Government, in order to accelerate the development of the fisheries sector in Serupun Sebalai Country.

"We want TPI to become a pilot area for district/city governments in developing the fisheries sector," he said.

According to him, currently developed countries, TPI is not only a fisheries center but has become a tourist destination to improve the regional economy and fishing communities.

"We want this TPI to be clean, beautiful and not make a smell so that people want to visit this fish auction site," he said.

He stated that with this UPTD, TPI management is better and can increase local revenue (PAD) to encourage the economy of the coastal community in this area.

"This UPTD will be able to cooperate with the private sector, such as parking, ice factories, warehouses and for the private sector interested in cooperation, please submit it to the relevant agencies," he said.
