Capai Target Entrepreneurship Ratio 3,95 Percent In 2024, Kemenkop UKM Extension Alternative Financing Access: Ada KUR, P2P Lending, Hingga Modal Ventural

JAKARTA - Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (KemenkopUKM) Siti Azizah said her party was trying to increase the entrepreneurship ratio in Indonesia to 3.95 percent by 2024.

Siti Azizah said that currently Indonesia's entrepreneurship ratio is at the level of 3.47 percent. Therefore, his party has also promoted various efforts so that the target is achieved in accordance with the target set by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs currently has a fairly challenging task to increase Indonesia's entrepreneurship ratio to 3.95 percent by 2024," he explained at the Arqam Accelerator Fashion Beauty Care Demo Day 2022 activity in Jakarta, Monday.

He further explained that the target was not immediately given because this entrepreneur was a driving force for the national economy.

His party also advised entrepreneurs not to step back and move forward to improve their business. In addition, his party will also continue to help entrepreneurs or MSME actors to expand access to alternative financing.

If you haven't been able to get KUR, there is peer to peer lending. If you haven't got peer to peer lending, there is a venture capital. So we collaborate on various kinds of alternative financing to help MSME actors," he said.

In the process, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs also carries out the task of creating entrepreneurial candidates to become entrepreneurs, one of the activities is visits to universities, with the aim of inviting students to become entrepreneurs.

"That's a forerunner of the beginning," said Siti Azizah.
