ID FOOD Cooking Oil Supply To Eastern Indonesia Via Optimizing Sea Tolls

SURABAYA - SOEs Holding Food ID FOOD again supply food supply for the Kumita cooking oil commodity to Eastern Indonesia. The distribution of this supply by optimizing sea highways.

This is a form of synergy between the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Transportation, local governments, business actors and other relevant stakeholders.

"Of the total 36 containers or around 674,400 liters, 20 of them are from BUMN ID FOOD as providers of cooking oil of 392,140 liters in supply to North Maluku," explained the President Director of Food Holding ID FOOD, Frans Marganda Tambunan, in a written statement, Saturday, September 24.

The release of the distribution of oil and cooking oil was witnessed directly by the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan and related parties. This distribution is in the context of joint synergy in accelerating the distribution of food for cooking oil commodities throughout Indonesia.

"The distribution of cooking oil ID FOOD Group acts as a provider of cooking oil commodities that will be supplied to several local business actors in North Maluku through subsidiaries such as PT BGR Logistics Indonesia, PT Berdikari Logistik Suplai and PT Berdikari United Livestock to meet the needs of the community for the availability of cooking oil," concluded Frans.

Meanwhile, Zulhas said, the goal is to accelerate the distribution of cooking oil to increase the availability of supply and stability of cooking oil prices throughout Indonesia, especially in eastern Indonesia.

The trick is to use the Maritime Outlet program to synergize with the use of the Sea Toll Road to Disadvantaged, Remote, Outermost, and Border areas (3TP).

"We hope that all parties can work together in maximizing the acceleration of the distribution of oil and gas so that cooking oil can be accessed by all Indonesians at prices according to HET. In addition, in order to achieve the main goal, namely stabilizing the availability and price of basic goods throughout Indonesia," said the Minister of Trade.

Previously, ID FOOD had distributed oil cooking oil to Eastern Indonesia through optimizing sea toll facilities from Tanjung Priok Port to Kupang, Timika, and Merauke with 40 containers or 669.6 tons or the equivalent of 744,000 liters.
