Discussion Of The 2023 State Budget Bill Continuing, The Government-DPR Based On Expenditure Plans Next Year

JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) today is known to be continuing the discussion of the Draft Law on the State Budget for Fiscal Year (TA) 2023 with the DPR.

Based on information compiled by the editors from internal sources, this agenda will detail the state expenditure plan next year.

"The central government spending committee meeting on the 2023 FY APBN Bill discusses ministry/institutional (K/L) and non-ministerial/institutional expenditures," reads the contents of the parliament's official announcement, Tuesday, September 20.

According to VOI records, some time ago it was agreed that the big posture of the 2023 State Budget with a state expenditure plan of Rp3,061.2 trillion. This figure consists of central government expenditures (ministry/institution) of Rp993.2 trillion, non-K/L expenditures of Rp1,253.3 trillion. Then, transfers to the regions (TKDD) amounting to Rp814.7 trillion

Meanwhile, in the revenue sector, a target of IDR 2,463 trillion was set, with details of tax revenues (tax revenues of IDR 1,718 trillion, excise customs of IDR 303.2 trillion) and non-tax state revenues (PNBP) of IDR 441.4 trillion.

For this posture, the budget deficit is maintained in the range of IDR 598.2 trillion or equivalent to 2.84 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
