Minister Sandiaga Goda Investor Investment For The Development Of Tourism In Nusa Penida

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno hopes that investors can invest in tourism development projects in Klungkung Regency. There are three areas developed, namely Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa Lembongan.

Dalam kesepakatan yang sama, Sandiaga Uno juga menyebutkan jika total nilai investasi yang bisa ditawarkan sebesar Rp320 miliar. Semuanya itu sudah siap to offer karena menurutnya sudah ada detail engineering design atau DED.

"This time we made a working visit to Nusa Penida to see the potential (tourism and the creative economy) as well as the opportunities we are developing, namely an investment of a total of IDR 320 billion in the form of a project ready to offer because there is already a DED (detail engineering design)," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga.

Most of the investment opportunities include infrastructure investment to tourism support completeness.

"This will soon be followed up by Mr. Henky (Deputy for Industry and Investment at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy) and we will also promote it in every our roadshow," said Sandiaga.

This, according to him, is also expected to support the revival of the tourism sector and the creative economy with the opening of employment opportunities, as well as to redistribute so that Bali is no longer overcrowded in one part but also in areas such as Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa Lembongan which offer one potential and sensation in itself.

During his visit to Nusa Penida, apart from seeing a number of destinations such as Kelingking Beach, Angel Billabong, and Broken Beach, Menparekraf Sandiaga also saw firsthand infrastructure such as roads and telecommunications which must continue to be strengthened.

With good infrastructure, it will certainly invite more tourists who are currently on average from 2,000 to 3,000 tourists per day.

"Earlier, we spoke with the Regent, the situation of the road is already full of people, especially when the situation will get better. We saw the potential for cooperation to build it through a public private partnership scheme or KPBU for infrastructure," said Sandiaga.

With the development followed by good arrangements, Menparekraf Sandiaga is optimistic that the hopes of making Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa Lembongan a Golden Triangle as levers from Klungkung and Bali regencies can generally be realized.
