JAKARTA - The Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of DKI Jakarta Province, Bank DKI has proposed an additional allocation of People's Business Credit (KUR) of Rp250 billion to the central government to meet this year's needs.
This step was taken to observe the high absorption of KUR from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in DKI Jakarta.
"We have to help the small community because of the current position, we focus on MSMEs," said Bank DKI President Director Fidri Arnaldy on "Cash Free Day" at Thamrin 10, as reported by Antara, Sunday, September 11.
This year, Bank DKI officially became a distributor of KUR after signing a collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to finance KUR with an allocation of IDR 1 trillion.
However, observing the high interest from MSME actors, his party proposed an additional KUR allocation. The realization of KUR until September 2022 has reached Rp650 billion.
He projects that by the end of October 2022, the KUR allocation of IDR 1 trillion has been absorbed 100 percent.
For 2023, his party plans to increase the allocation of KUR with a target considered at IDR 2 trillion.
His party will intensively absorb KUR market segments, including transforming human resources so that services and socialization will improve with increased digital-based technology.
The target is also supported by the stretching of the economy which began to grow after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new KUR customers have so far reached around 3,000 people and fixed customers (extended) have reached around 2,000 MSME actors.
"We are indeed more intensive. They are MSMEs, a combination of super micro to retail from loans of Rp. 10 million to Rp. 500 million," he said.
