JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) requires long-distance train customers aged 18 years and over to have a third or booster vaccination. Meanwhile, customers aged 6-17 must have a second dose of vaccination. This policy takes effect from tomorrow. The regulation adjusts to the issuance of the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 84 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Domestic Travel by Rail Transportation during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period on August 26, 2022. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI)'s VP of Public Relations of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Joni Martius said the changes in this latest regulation were previously that customers who had not been vaccinated were still allowed to equip them with negative RT-PCR results, but starting August 30, this would no longer apply.
