Disbursed To 18,965 Debtor, The Realization Of KUR In Babel Capai Is IDR 1.23 Trillion

PANGKALPINANG - Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province noted that the realization of the distribution of people's business loans (KUR) until July 2022 reached Rp1.23 trillion. This amount flowed to 18,965 debtors.

"The realization of KUR distributed by banks is already high to encourage economic growth in the community and suppress inflation," said Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of the Babel Islands Province, Edih Mulyadi in Pangkalpinang, Babel, quoted by Antara, Sunday, August 28.

He said that in empowering MSMEs, the Ministry of Finance is intensifying various programs such as providing tax incentives, capital information, ease of exports and imports, and implementing MSME auction celebrations.

"Currently, the realization of micro-enterprises financing in Bangka Belitung is still IDR 21 billion to 4,812 debtors or still quite low and this continues to be encouraged to strengthen MSME business capital in developing its business," he said.

According to him, the socialization for the distribution of micro-business financing has not been maximized, so that in the future it will be increased by more intensive socialization involving sub-district heads and other regional officials in charge of MSMEs.

"Currently, we already have groups with all sub-district heads for discussion on empowering MSMEs so that access to financing is easier, especially KUR and in the future it will also be socialized through agricultural extension workers," he said.

He stated that one of the reasons for the lack of distribution of KUR was also because many people switched to tin and palm oil, so that MSMEs were abandoned.

"However, this condition is considered situational and if the condition is reversed later, it must be ready to face it. The readiness must be really ready, meaning that MSME financing is running, the economy is moving, thereby increasing growth at the regional level," he said.
