JAKARTA - Taking the momentum of the 77th Independence Day Celebration of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya as the DKI Jakarta BUMD Food collaborated with the Darussyifa Foundation to present a work accident management facility called the PIBC Clinic located at the Cipinang Rice Main Market (PIBC), East Jakarta. , Friday August 19th.

The inauguration of the clinic was carried out by the Director of Finance and General Affairs of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Budi Santoso together with the Head of PIBC Herry Awal Fajar. In addition, the inauguration was also witnessed by the Chairman of the Darussyifa Foundation, the Management of the PIBC Unloading Workers Cooperative (PKBM) and the local RT, RW and Lurah. .

Along with the inauguration of the clinic, donations were also made to 100 orphans from nearby residents and the Rawamangun Orphanage Foundation. The initiative to carry out the event of providing compensation to orphans was carried out by the Darussyifa Foundation.

“Taking the momentum to celebrate the 77th Indonesian Independence Day, we present a clinic at PIBC. The goal is that all stakeholders at PIBC, from loading and unloading workers, shop owners, employees and visitors can quickly and easily get health services at the nearest location," Budi said in his official statement, Sunday, August 21.

Budi added that although the existence of this clinic is within the PIBC, residents around PIBC can also access services at the PIBC Clinic. In addition, the PIBC clinic also complements the supporting facilities owned by PIBC such as a mosque, canteen, fire department, rice lab and shelter for workers.

“Like a market, the presence of health facilities is a necessity. However, the presence of the PIBC Clinic is not exclusive because of that, local residents can access health services at the PIBC Clinic," said Budi. clinic at PIBC. The aim is to help make it easier for workers in PIBC to obtain health services.

"Hopefully the existence of the PIBC Clinic will bring many benefits, both for workers and the surrounding community," he said

The new clinic, which will start operating next Monday, was deliberately established to answer the health needs of loading and unloading workers at PIBC and the surrounding community.

It was the Darussyifa Foundation's collaboration with the Food Station that led to the establishment of this PIBC Clinic. The clinic, which is located about 30 meters from the entrance of the Cipinang Rice Main Market, will serve patients from Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 17.00. For Saturday, the service will start at 12 and close at 17.00. And it is necessary to be informed that patients who attend this clinic can use BPJS.

This clinic has human resources of two doctors, one nurse, one pharmacist and one pharmacist assistant running health services.

"But if it takes 24 hours, we will open 24 hours," said Ali Zainal Abidin Shahab, Head of the Darussyifa Foundation.

The establishment of this clinic aims to provide first aid for work accidents, in addition to general health. So far, rice loading and unloading workers who have work accidents often visit a clinic about 500 meters from the location. Namely the Cipinang Primary Clinic which is also under the auspices of the Darussyifa Foundation.

"In a month, ten to twenty workers loading and unloading rice from the market come to the clinic (Cipinang Pratama Clinic)," explained Ali Zainal Abidin.

"In addition to first aid, we will also provide counseling to avoid this work accident to workers," said Ali Zainal Abidin.

Actually there is no difference in the treatment of victims of work accidents with other sufferers. However, according to Dr. Eka Oktaviani Saputri, Head of the PIBC Clinic, in this clinic the hands or feet of victims of work accidents for example fractures are immediately splinted. In other words, people with work accidents get faster and more precise services.
