Purnomo Prawiro's Management Of Blue Bird Owned By Conglomerate Rp11 Trillion: Plaintiff Elliana Wibowo Is Not A BIRD Shareholder

JAKARTA - The taxi company belonging to the Purnomo Prawiro conglomerate, PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) stated that the company has officially accepted the lawsuit filed by Elliana Wibowo on August 15, 2022. In which the wrongful lawsuit is addressed to PT Blue Bird Tbk as Defendant IX.

Blue Bird's Board of Directors, represented by President Director Sigit Priawan Djokosoetono and Director Eko Yuliantoro confirmed that based on the BIRD shareholder register from the company's securities administration bureau, Eliana Wibowo is not registered as a shareholder of PT Blue Bird Tbk.

"And on this occasion the company can also confirm that Ms. Eliana Wibowo is not one of the founders of PT Blue Bird Tbk and therefore the company does not have any legal relationship with Ms. Eliana Wibowo," explained the BIRD directors in his letter, quoted from information disclosure on the website. Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Thursday 18 August.

The BIRD Board of Directors also stated that the company was not aware of and was not involved with Elliana Wibowo's legal issues as stated in the lawsuit and therefore the company also sees that this lawsuit has no impact on the company's operations and finances. This is given that up to now, the performance of the company has shown a positive trend of performance for the last three consecutive quarters.

"In connection with the lawsuit, the company has appointed Law Firm Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo (LGS) to defend any and all interests of the company in connection with the lawsuit," said the BIRD directors.
