JAKARTA - PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF and PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) have re-launched a sharia housing microfinance program or HOME Syariah. This program is a form of continuous synergy and collaboration across SOEs between SMF and PNM, which is intended for Mekaar Syariah customers.

SMF President Director Ananta Wiyogo said the collaboration between SMF and PNM through HOME Syariah was carried out in sharia principles using a mudharabah muqayyadah contract. In this case, SMF as shahibul maal and PNM as mudharib are carried out based on sharia principles by referring to the provisions of Islamic law, both fatwas and sharia compliance from the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council.

"The launch of this program is proof of SMF's commitment to serving all community groups who need access to housing finance, including non-fixed income groups," Ananta said in his statement, Tuesday, July 26.

According to him, this is in line with POJK No. 12 of 2022, which is an amendment to POJK No. 4 of 2018 which has been accepted by SMF as a way to maximize the functions and roles of SMF in accordance with the Government's mandate in Presidential Regulation No. 100 of 2020.

"In the current conditions, where the pandemic has not yet ended, the HOME Syariah housing microfinance program is also expected to be a choice of solutions and answers so that people can rise up in the midst of the current economic turmoil, where more and more people can use it to help the Government. in supporting the maintenance of national economic stability," said Ananta.

Ananta further said, HOME Syariah provides broad opportunities for all people to get housing and business financing easily and cheaply.

On the same occasion the Director of Operations of PNM Sunar Basuki said that this program was the beginning of an effort to improve the level of welfare of the community, especially PNM customers. Supported by SMF, this is a form of the presence of PNM and the government on the problem of meeting the needs of community boards.

The HOME Syariah program is a housing microfinance program aimed at the customers of the Syariah Fostering Family Economy Program (PNM Mekaar) and the PNM-assisted Mekaar Plus Syariah.

Through this program, Mekaar's customers receive micro-financing facilities to renovate houses which are also used as places or business support. This program is expected to encourage the productivity of the MSME and ultra micro sectors to be able to move again through the businesses they do from their own homes.
