Mukomuko Agriculture Office Says Many Factories Purchase Palm Oil FFB Lower Than The Set Price: Some Up To Rp830 Per Kg

JAKARTA - The Agriculture Office of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, stated that until now all factories have purchased fresh fruit bunches of palm oil at a lower price than the price decided by the formulating team.

The Bengkulu Province Plantation Commodity Price Formulating Team set the lowest purchase price for palm fruit at the factory level at IDR 1,666 per kg and the highest price at IDR 2,219 per kg. From this price, factories are given a tolerance for buying smallholder palm oil at IDR 1,845 per kg. "Based on data from the Bengkulu plantation commodity price formulating team, all factories buy palm oil at a lower price than the team's determined price," said Head of Plantation, Mukomuko Regency Agriculture Office, Meri Marlina. in a statement quoted by Antara, Sunday, July 17. The Mukomuko Regency Agriculture Service is still using the price data determined by the Bengkulu Plantation Commodity Price Formulating Team in June 2022 because there has been no pricing for July this year.

Meanwhile, the purchase price for fresh fruit bunches of palm oil was highest in this area at Rp. 1,100 per kilogram at PT Gajah Sakti Sawit and the lowest at Rp. 830 at PT Surya Andalan Primatama. palm oil or CPO out of this area.

So the factory speculates to buy palm oil at a low price because currently the factory stores more CPO than sells out of this area. Furthermore, the factory is waiting for a policy from the central government to export CPO because currently the existing CPO is only to meet domestic needs. He said, the price of palm oil at PT Bumi Mentari Karya is Rp1,080 per kg, the price for palm oil at PT Karya Sawitindo Mas is Rp1,020 per kg, the price for palm oil at PT Mukomuko Indah Lestari is Rp1,040 per kg, the price for palm oil at PT Daria Dharma Pratama is Rp. IDR 1,040 per kg. Then the price of palm FFB at PT Karya Agro Sawitindo is IDR 1,020 per kg, the price of palm oil at PT Gajah Sakti Sawit is IDR 1,100 per kg, the price of palm oil at PT Sapta Sentosa Jaya Abadi is IDR 880 per kg. The price of palm oil at PT Usaha Sawit Mandiri is IDR 1,050 per kg, and the price of palm oil at PT Surya Andalan Primatama is IDR 830 per kg.
