JAKARTA - Citilink Indonesia has re-opened international flights with the route to Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur PP.
This route was temporarily deactivated during the COVID-19 pandemic or approximately 2 years.
The inaugural flight was carried out today.
President Director of Citilink Dewa Kadek Rai said, this flight will provide easy access to transportation for tourists who want to travel to Malaysia and vice versa.
"Along with the implementation of a quarantine-free policy for foreign tourists," he said in an official statement, Friday, July 15.
Dewa explained, Citilink is optimistic that this route will contribute positively to the recovery of the economic and tourism sectors.
This is because it connects the capital cities of the two countries, namely Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
"The Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur pp route will add Citilink's international flight services between Indonesia and Malaysia to two routes, after previously opening the Medan-Penang pp route which has been operating since June 10, 2022," he explained.
Furthermore, Dewa said, the Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur route pp flight will operate every day using an Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 seats.
