Wow! The Auction Value Of 2021 Is The Highest Throughout History, Sri Mulyani Cs Raup Rp35.1 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) through the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) reports that the principal value of the auction that has been collected throughout 2021 is IDR 35.1 trillion.

Head of the Sub-Directorate of the DJKN Auction Policy at the Ministry of Finance, Diki Zenal Abidin, said that the score shot up when compared to 2020 which amounted to Rp. 26.2 trillion.

Indeed, in 2020 it fell slightly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, in 2019 the principal auction value was IDR 27 trillion," he said through a digital channel on Friday, July 8.

According to Diki, the results achieved last year are a separate achievement. The reason is, the government has never recorded a basic auction value with such high results.

"This number has never been achieved and is the highest in history," explained Sri Mulyani's subordinate.

Furthermore, Diki also revealed that for the 2022 period, the principal value of the auction that was achieved until last June was Rp. 13.6 trillion. This amount still has not reached half of the target so far this year which is targeted at Rp. 30 trillion.

Indeed, it cannot be 50 percent until June, but in a behavior or habit, the auction will only increase in the second semester or the third quarter and fourth quarter of 2022. The cycle was proven in the last 2021 period," he said.

In Diki's presentation, it was revealed that the main value of state auction was indeed in an increasing trend. This was reflected in the condition five years ago when the 2017 auction reached Rp. 16.7 trillion, and in 2018 it was Rp. 18.3 trillion.
