JAKARTA – The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Housing continues to provide housing for low-income communities (MBR) through the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) or Self Helping Houses.

The Director General of Housing at the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, said that in 2022, his party will receive a budget allocation of IDR 2.23 trillion for the BSPS program with a target of 103,000 housing units that are unfit for habitation.

"Overall the financial progress of the Directorate General of Housing until June 28, 2022 is 38.02 percent, around Rp. 2.62 trillion from the 2022 budget allocation of Rp. 6.9 trillion and physical progress of 33.75 percent," said Iwan.
