JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) has completed the electricity network in the Gorontalo Province.

The provision of voltage or energizing on the 150 kV High Voltage Air Line (SUTT) GI Marisa-GI Biomass along the 80.59 kilometer circuit (kms) is to increase the reliability of electricity in the area.

PLN Sulawesi Main Development Unit (UIP) through PLN North Sulawesi Project Implementing Unit (UPP North Sulawesi) succeeded in providing voltage for Circuit 1 which stretches from Marisa District to Popayato District.

General Manager of PLN UIP Sulawesi Defiar Anis explained that the construction of the 150 kV SUTT GI Marisa-GI Biomass is part of the Electricity Infrastructure Development (PIK) of SUTT 150 kV Marisa–Moutong.

This infrastructure was successfully completed within 13 months from the time the Kick Off Meeting was held.

The construction of the 150 kV Marisa-Moutong SUTT GI is divided into 3 sections, namely, the 150 kV Marisa–Moutong SUTT (Section 1), 150 kV Marisa–Moutong SUTT (Section 2), and 150 kV Marisa SUTT. kV Customer–Incomer (Marisa-Moutong) with a total of 244 towers," said Anis in a written statement, Tuesday, June 7.

Anis added that the 150 kV Marisa-Moutong SUTT is part of a development that will unify the electricity system in Sulawesi.
