JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java (JBB) ensures the availability and distribution of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) to touch all corners of the village, in the provinces of Banten, West Java, and DKI Jakarta.
To realize this hope, Pertamina has built and operates the Pertashop BBM Distribution Agency and 3Kg LPG Base through the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) Program.
Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional, Eko Kristiawan said, currently in West Java through the OVOO program there are 463 Pertashop outlets and 36,661 3 Kg LPG bases operating in 826 sub-districts and 7,784 villages.
"With this number of distributions, all sub-districts and villages in Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java which are the target of the program have provided Pertashop Outlets and 3Kg LPG Bases," said Eko in a written statement, Saturday, June 4.
Eko also explained that the distribution of BBM and LPG to all JBB in the Greater Jakarta area was distributed from the Jakarta Integrated Terminal.
For the Banten area, it is at the Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal and the Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal.
Meanwhile, in West Java, they are at the Ujung Berung Fuel Terminal, Cikampek Fuel Terminal, Padalarang Fuel Terminal, Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal, Balongan Integrated Terminal, and Cirebon LPG Facilities.
"2,031 BBM Distribution Institutions and 36,661 3Kg LPG Bases operate in remote villages so that it is easier for people to get BBM and LPG according to the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the government. So prices for basic necessities are becoming more affordable," added Eko.
Eko added that currently, Pertamina continues to disseminate information and collect data on strategic locations that have the potential to be built by Pertashop.
Nationally, through the energy distribution infrastructure that has been built, Pertamina from January-April 2022 has distributed subsidized diesel with a volume of around 5.2 million KL, Pertalite around 9 million KL, and subsidized LPG with a volume of about 2.5 million metric tons.
Furthermore, he said, people who are entitled to subsidies can enjoy affordable subsidized fuel and LPG prices because they are supported by fuel and LPG subsidies from the government.
In the 2022 APBN, the government has increased the number of subsidies by IDR 71.8 trillion, as a form of the state's presence to protect the public in the midst of soaring world crude oil prices.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region with the support of all stakeholders will continue to ensure that the supply and distribution of subsidized fuel and LPG in the Banten, DKI Jakarta, and West Java areas, which are so large from the Government this year, can be utilized properly, on target and not exceeding the determined quota," concluded Eko.
