BNI Eyes Digital Transaction Growth At Java Jazz 2022

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is known to have prepared payment system facilities and digital (cashless) financial transactions for all commercial activities in the Java Jazz 2022 event.

BNI Corporate Secretary Mucharom said that the company accommodated financial transactions for around 50 merchandise and food and beverage tenants at the event location.

"Of course, all transactions will be facilitated with digital payments starting from the millennial favorite channel, namely QRIS, as well as debit, credit, and BNI Tapcash cards that have been used throughout the history of Java Jazz," he said in an official statement on Friday, May 27.

According to Arom, Mucharom's nickname, this step is also aimed at avoiding too much physical contact during the transaction.

“Java Jazz is a very appropriate event to invite people to be more fond of digital transaction products. High interest and excellent public consumption at music events like this will be our momentum to introduce various digital products," he said.

Furthermore, the state-owned bank is also rumored to be exhibiting metaverse services at the Java Jazz music festival on May 27 to 29.

"As a financial institution with international banking advantages, we will also showcase MSME products that have succeeded in penetrating the global market," Arom concluded in his statement.
