Perum DAMRI Serves 480 Thousand Homecomers In The 2022 Eid Holidays

JAKARTA - The land transportation service company Perum DAMRI during the Lebaran 1443 Hijri homecoming season on 27 April to 11 May 2022 served more than 480 thousand travelers by taking more than 38 thousand trips (trips).

The Acting Corporate Secretary of DAMRI, Siti Inda Suri said that the peak of the homecoming flow with DAMRI occurred on 28-30 April 2022 with a number of favorite routes to Central Java, East Java and Lampung.

"At the peak of the homecoming flow, overall DAMRI served more than 130 thousand passengers," he said, quoted from Antara, Thursday, May 12.

Based on the recorded data, several areas have passenger density during the homecoming flow, including departures from the Kemayoran DAMRI Pool, Gambir Station DAMRI Pool, and Bogor DAMRI Pool.

Meanwhile, the return flow occurred on departures from Bandar Lampung, Cilacap, Yogyakarta, Palembang, and Bogor.

"For the peak of the return flow, it will occur on May 6-8 2022 with a total of homecomers reaching more than 120,000 passengers," he said.

During the 2022 Eid al-Fitr transportation period itself, DAMRI also organized the provision of Lebaran Homecoming Posts which took place from April 15 to May 15, 2022. Several branches that became nationally monitored include Jabodetabek, Lampung, Palembang, Central Java, and East Java.
