During Ramadan And Eid, PPI Distributes Nearly 12 Million Liters Of Cooking Oil In Traditional Markets

JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Trading Company / PPI member Of ID Food continues to be committed to assisting the government in maintaining the supply of cooking oil to meet the needs of the community until Eid al-Fitr 1443 H in a number of areas throughout Indonesia. It was recorded that until the end of April 2022, PPI had distributed 12 million liters to traditional markets.

PPI has distributed cooking oil through people's markets throughout Indonesia as much as nearly 12 million liters consisting of bulk cooking oil and packaged cooking oil.

The distribution of cooking oil in the Sumatra region has been distributed as much as 1,850,000 liters of bulk oil and 27,800 liters of packaged oil. The supply of cooking oil to Aceh was recorded at 1,500,000 liters of bulk and 140,000 liters of packaged cooking oil.

Supply to Lampung PPI has distributed as much as 4,000,000 liters of bulk cooking oil. The distribution to Riau was realized at 320,000 liters, as well as to Bengkulu, 160,000 liters of bulk cooking oil were distributed.

In Java, PPI has distributed 2,700,000 liters of bulk cooking oil and 176,000 liters of packaged cooking oil.

The supply of cooking oil in the DKI Jakarta area has been distributed as much as 831,000 liters of bulk. In West Java province, 304,000 liters of bulk cooking oil have been allocated, while in Banten, 16,200 liters of bulk oil have been distributed.

In the Java region, 1,015,000 liters of bulk cooking oil and 62,000 liters of packaged oil have been distributed to the province of Central Java.

Cooking oil supplies in East Java are also distributed as much as 300,000 liters of bulk and 102,000 liters of packaged oil. As for the DI Yogyakarta province, there were 218,000 liters of bulk cooking oil and 12,000 liters of packaged cooking oil that had been distributed.

The distribution of cooking oil supplies is distributed to the Kalimantan region as much as 97,000 liters of bulk oil. In the Sulawesi region, 850,000 liters of bulk cooking oil and 2,400 liters of packaged cooking oil are distributed, while in Gorontalo province there are 81,320 liters of bulk cooking oil and 7,050 liters of packaged cooking oil.

The government guarantees the availability of cooking oil in the community during this Eid. Nina Sulistyowati, President Director of PPI, during a visit to markets in DKI said that during Ramadan and ahead of Eid al-Fitr, the public's interest in basic needs is higher than in other months.

"We, PPI, are committed to fulfilling food packages through bazaars and cheap markets, apart from that, of course, for the fulfillment of bulk cooking oil until the day of Eid, we optimize its distribution," said Nina.

Nina added that currently PPI has 52 branches, with the support of its subsidiary PT BGR Logistics Indonesia in distribution from PPI partner factories. PPI branches are maximized according to their potential in helping the government for the availability of this cooking oil in the community.

After this Eid, PPI will return to distributing cooking oil in markets throughout Indonesia.
