JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) is increasingly campaigning for the use of induction electric stoves in Ambon City as part of the electrifying lifestyle program through the 2022 Ramadan Electrifying Lifestyle Fair (Relief) at the PLN customer service unit (ULP) Ambon City.

Senior Manager of Commerce and Customer Management of PLN Main Unit for Maluku and North Maluku Region (UIW MMU), Amos Articleli said that on this occasion, PLN also collaborated with MSMEs in Ambon City who had used induction cookers and other electrical equipment for their business needs.

"So we also want to show that Ambon is ready to transition to a new all-electric lifestyle which is certainly more environmentally friendly, one of which is the use of induction cookers," Amos said in his statement to the media, Sunday, May 1.

According to Amos, based on the results of a survey conducted in the field, the use of induction cookers in Ambon City continues to increase.

It was noted that from October 2021 to March 2022, there were an additional 400 users of induction cookers in Ambon City who also participated in the Add Power Comfort Induction Cooker promo. This promo is still ongoing until December 31, 2022.

"This figure is also supported by merchants who sell induction cookers in Ambon, who said that a lot of people in Ambon City buy these induction cookers," added Amos.

Store Leader Informa Maluku, Julham, appreciated the Relief 2022 event which had involved his party to promote electronic products including Induction Cookers.

"We thank PLN for consistently organizing events like this. Induction stoves are also one of the most sought-after items by the public lately," he explained.

Also enlivening the Relief 2022 activities are cooking demonstrations using an induction cooker, a bazaar for Ramadan needs to exchanging money by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office, Maluku Province.
