Pertamina Distributes Fuel 24 Hours Until Eid

PANGKALPINANG - PT Pertamina (Persero) distributes fuel oil (BBM) from upstream to downstream for 24 hours, to meet community needs which are predicted to increase during Ramadan until Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriyah.

"We are committed to ensuring that the community's energy needs are properly available during Ramadan and Eid this year," said Pertamina Patra Niaga SH C&T President Director Alfian Nasution in a press statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 16.

Pertamina distributes energy for the community considering that this year the need for fuel, LPG, and also Avtur will be similar to normal conditions with the ongoing control of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Currently, the trend of public energy consumption since the beginning of 2022 continues to show an increase and is close to public consumption before the pandemic," he said.

According to him, to ensure that needs are met, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to ensure that stock is always available to balance demand with supply distributed to the community.

"Currently, the average endurance of all BBM products is above 16 days, LPG is at 13 days and Avtur is above 33 days," said Alfian.

Alfian predicts that the energy demand for the Bangka Belitung area with the Pertamax Series fuel type is projected to increase by 29.2 percent, the Dex series experiencing a slight decrease from the current average daily consumption.

While Pertalite is predicted to increase by 14.4 percent, Bio Solar is predicted to increase slightly from the current average daily consumption, especially before Eid, for avtur itself there will be an increase from the average daily consumption.

"With conditions getting better, Pertamina Patra Niaga as Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to be committed to ensuring that energy needs are available properly," he said.
