Alhamdulillah! PLN Gives Promo Ahead Of Ramadan, Adding Power For Houses Of Worship Only Pay For IDR 150 Thousand

JAKARTA - Entering the month of Ramadan, PT PLN (Persero) again held a discount promo for adding electricity to houses of worship. This service gives customers the opportunity to increase the power to 11.000 Volt Ampere (VA) at a cost of IDR 150 thousand.

PLN's Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and CSR, Agung Murdifi, said the Ramadan Berkah program targets social tariff customers for the designation of houses of worship with the option of increasing the power from 2,200 to 11,000 VA. This promo is valid from March 29 to May 31, 2022.

"Welcoming Ramadaan, PLN improves services to customers by providing relief from additional power costs. This time the promo is given to houses of worship," Agung said, quoted Thursday, March 31.

Agung said that through the Ramadhan Berkah program, customers could save on additional power costs. He gave an example when under normal conditions to increase the power from 1.300 VA to 2.200 VA, it costs IDR 1.153.500, and if the customer wants to increase the power from 1.300 VA to 11.000 VA, it costs IDR 9.3 million, while during the promo the cost of adding power is only IDR 150 thousand.

"So it can be ascertained how much savings customers will get if they participate in this Ramadan Blessing promo," he said.

To take part in the Ramadan Berkah promo, consumers apply for the 2022 Ramadan Blessing Service Product via PLN Mobile. When submitting a customer application, they will be asked to input the promo code PLNBERKAH. After that, follow the instructions given in the application.

Agung said that by holding a discount on the addition of power for houses of worship, it is hoped that it can increase the comfort of the community when carrying out worship.

"PLN provides a stimulus to add power to houses of worship of all religions, so they can use electricity more comfortably and freely," added Agung.
