JAKARTA - The Indonesian Farmers Harmony Association (HKTI) has just collaborated with Qilaa International Group regarding digital agricultural applications for farmers who are members of the HKTI. The application will facilitate and ease the lives of farmers.
The collaboration was marked by the signing of an MoU between the General Chair of HKTI Moeldoko and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qilaa International Group, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, at the DPP HKTI Menteng office, Central Jakarta, Monday, 28 March.
The application is the first in Indonesia in terms of services and features, especially regarding the communicative relationship between all members of the association consisting of farmers and fishermen, which number more than 62 million members.
HKTI Chairman Moeldoko thanked Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani for this project, considering this is a long-term strategic partnership between the Qilaa Group and the Indonesian Farmers Association (HKTI), as an extension of the special relationship between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Indonesia.
"We don't buy this application, it will be donated to HKTI. This application will contain conveniences for farmers as well as gifts. This application will also contain information regarding various things (related to) agriculture. This is really useful for our farmers," he said.

So it is hoped that this application can provide benefits for HKTI in order to prosper Indonesian farmers and agriculture.
On the same occasion, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani emphasized the importance of this project, especially because this project will be free for the benefit of all HKTI members and will be of great benefit to them and facilitate them in various aspects of agricultural life.

According to him, Qilaa Group has been working on this agricultural application for about 4 years and this application is ready to be used. "We are also working on an application for the Fifa World Cup and this is the second application that will work with our group," he explained.
Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani explained that there are many advantages of this application. First, farmers can download the application for free. Second, this application will contain many videos and useful content for farmers.
Third, this application will provide access for farmers to communicate in this application. So in this application farmers can share videos, images and sounds.
"We will provide many free things in this application. We will also provide education and free schools for the children of the farmers. And every three months we will hold a competition about agriculture for the farmers and there will be prizes for the winners," he said.
Every six months, one family from several farmer families will also be selected to donate. Starting from the needs of the house, clothes, food and others.
"We ask for help from farmers to download this application and we communicate between us and each other. In this application we will also provide discounts for farmers for various farms," he said.
According to him, in the second phase of application development, there will be a marketplace for farmers. Later, farmers can sell their products directly in this application. "We will do this in a big way, and we will give discounts to farmers in shops and restaurants throughout Indonesia. I came today with my brother to help the farmers," he said.
