PTPP Builds Development Of BBPPT ICT Equipment Testing Center Laboratory

JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction and development of the BBPPT Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Equipment Testing Center Laboratory which is owned by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The start of the construction of the laboratory was marked by the groundbreaking procession which was held on Wednesday, March 16 at the construction site, Depok.

The event was also attended by the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny Gerard Plate, Director General of Resources and Equipment for Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) Ismail, Inspector General of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics Doddy Setiadi, President Director of PTPP Novel Arsyad, To the Operations Division of Andek Prabowo's Building , and other officials.

The construction of the BBPPT ICT Testing Center Laboratory development project is located in Tapos District, Depok, West Java. The project, which is owned by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, has a scope of work, including the construction of laboratory buildings, warehouses, service & administration office buildings, mosques, multipurpose buildings, loading docks, utility buildings, etc. The construction of the project will be carried out for 293 calendar days with a maintenance period of 365 calendar days.

The BBPPT ICT equipment testing center laboratory was developed to answer the demands of society and industry where quality and quantity can be met. In addition, the development of the laboratory so that it can comply with existing regulations both national and international so that it becomes an international standard testing laboratory (World Class Testing Laboratory) and pays attention to efforts to support environmental conservation with complete and standard facilities and infrastructure and a green laboratory concept.

The addition of testing and calibration facilities through the construction of an ICT testing center laboratory is expected to meet the needs of the community according to international standards. In addition, the addition needs to be facilitated with a location and space that refers to international regulations.

"The Kemenkominfo RI ICT Testing Center Laboratory with a building area of 4,816 square meters and a total of five buildings and other facilities will be built by PTPP today. PTPP has sent a flagship team as a form of commitment to provide the best quality with a timely work schedule. Every development process will be carried out in detail and the progress will be informed openly," said Novel Arsyad, President Director of PTPP in a statement, Thursday, March 17.
