According to Sandiaga, local wisdom and various spices from the archipelago must be shown in the MotoGP event which will become the center of world attention, because it will be watched by more than 400 million people.

Later, continued Sandiaga, there will be superior culinary delights from 34 provinces that will be exhibited at the location of the 2022 MotoGP, in Mandalika.

"This culinary promotion effort is part of the 'Spice Up The World' program as a manifestation of the government's hope to make Indonesia one of the leading gastronomic destinations that must be promoted through culinary products," said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga explained, about 42 to 45 percent of jobs were created by the culinary sector. Therefore, the strength of the Indonesian culinary industry needs to be increased to a global level, by utilizing international racing events such as MotoGP 2022.

In this case, he continued, Kemenparenkraf in collaboration with Bango held the Bango Snack Festival (FJB) Mandalika 2022 to introduce the culinary variety of the archipelago.

“My hope is that with the 'food truck' and FJB we can improve service by 20 to 30 percent of culinary transactions there. Because we want to create between 35 and 50 thousand new jobs as part of the economic revival in Mandalika," said Sandiaga.
