Hutama Karya Calls Construction Of Trans Sumatra Toll Road Lubuk Linggau - Curup - Bengkulu Section Waiting For Central Government Decision

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (HK) Infrastruktur stated that the construction of the second phase of the Trans Sumatra toll road, namely the Lubuk Linggau - Curup - Bengkulu Section, can be carried out after obtaining a decision from the central government.

EVP Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero), Tjahjo Purnomo said that as the owner of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road project, his party continues to optimize these stages while waiting for the government's decision.

PT HK Infrastructure, he said, is not only carrying out construction, but also in stages starting from planning, construction, operation and maintenance to funding strategies.

"For the construction of the second phase of the Trans Sumatra toll road from the Lubuk Linggau - Curup - Bengkulu section, we are still waiting for the government's decision so that the construction can be carried out," said Tjahjo, quoted from Antara, Thursday, March 10.

As for the construction of the first phase of the Trans Sumatra toll road, namely Bengkulu - Taba Penanjung with a length of 17.6 kilometers. Then for the condition of the construction progress of 96 percent and for the progress of land acquisition has reached 99 percent.

Therefore, his party seeks to complete the construction of the first toll road in Bengkulu Province. "We hope that the toll road can immediately operate and be enjoyed by the surrounding community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bengkulu Province, Hamka Sabri explained that the construction of the Trans Sumatra toll road was a program of the central government.

"After there is an application from the Ministry of PUPR which is attached to the plan, we will determine the location," he explained.
