Avian Paint Manufacturer Owned By Conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko Targets To Have 144 Distribution Centers By 2022 From Sabang To Merauke

JAKARTA - PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), a paint producer company owned by conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko, is aggressively expanding its business by adding distribution networks to capture opportunities and increase its market share in the Indonesian paint industry.

This year, AVIA targets to reach 144 distribution centers spread from Sabang to Merauke. This step is one of the company's efforts to encourage increased business performance throughout 2022.

AVIA President Director Wijono Tanoko said, seeing the current opportunity where the demand for the company's products continues to increase, AVIA continues to strive to provide solutions to meet domestic paint needs by further strengthening the distribution network.

"By the end of 2022, AVIA's total distribution network will be 144 spread throughout Indonesia. Supported by more than 700 delivery fleets, all of these distribution centers are always focused on improving the quality of service to building material store customers. facilitate access to various AVIA products," said Wijono in his statement, Tuesday, March 8.

Wijono continued, in the next 2-3 years, the Company targets to be able to open around 6-8 new distribution centers per year. Therefore, with the wider network, the company is optimistic that revenue can grow to double digits this year. By the end of 2021, AVIA's sales reached up to IDR 6.8 trillion.

On the other hand, AVIA also plans to build a new factory in Cirebon which is modern and integrated to be able to increase AVIA's production capacity of 225,000 MT per year, which is expected to start operating in 2025. For the construction of the factory, AVIA has budgeted capital expenditure ) around Rp. 750 billion.

"The construction of this third factory is needed to facilitate product supply in connection with the double-digit growth plan targeted by the company.
