PPS Update March 4, 2022: 18,982 Taxpayers Reveal Their Assets, IDR 2.3 Trillion Enters The State Treasury

JAKARTA - The government through the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance stated that the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) until Friday morning, March 4 had been attended by 18,982 taxpayers (WP).

Of this amount, the value of assets disclosed by taxpayers reached Rp. 23.07 trillion with 21,282 certificates.

"The net asset value (disclosed) is Rp. 23.07 trillion," said the DGT report as quoted by the editorial from the official website today, Friday, March 4.

In detail, the amount of assets disclosed consisted of IDR 20.2 trillion for declarations in the country, and IDR 1.44 trillion for declarations of assets abroad. Then, there was also Rp1.43 trillion worth of assets which were then invested in state securities (SBN) instruments.

Meanwhile, the net value that goes into the state treasury in the form of Income Tax (PPh) is 2.39 trillion.

For information, PPS is a continuation of the tax amnesty program that was held by the government several years ago. PPS this time is also touted as tax amnesty volume II.

Just so you know, PPS is one of the implementations of the Harmonization of Regulations Act (HPP) which was passed last year. PPS itself will be rolled out starting January 1, 2022 and will end on June 30, 2022.
