SOE Minister Erick Thohir Positive For COVID-19, Stafsus Arya Sinulingga: He Is In Good Condition, Steady, And Has No Problems

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir was exposed to COVID-19. Erick tested positive for COVID-19 two days ago.

Even so, Erick still carried out his duties as a minister. Various meeting activities were carried out virtually.

The news that Erick Thohir was positive for COVID-19 was confirmed by the Special Staff for the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga. Arya said that Erick's condition was good and there were no dangerous symptoms.

"So it's true that Pak Erick is positive (COVID-19). Until today, he is in good and steady condition, there are no problems," he told reporters, Tuesday, March 1.

Even though he was exposed to COVID-19, Arya explained that Erick could still carry out his duties as a minister by carrying out various virtual activities.

"To this day he continues to work. Several meetings have been held vicon (video conference) both at the ministry's internal level, there have also been vicon meetings with plenary meetings with the President," he said.

According to Arya, he is also still coordinating with Erick regarding the various jobs he has to do.

"Just now I am still coordinating with him regarding the work I still need to do and coordinating with him," he said.
