Alhamdulillah, The Provincial Government Calls The MotoGP Pre-season Test A Blessing For Tourism And The NTB Economy

JAKARTA - The MotoGP international motorcycle racing event at the Mandalika Circuit has not yet started. But the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has received a blessing.

One of them is related to tourism potential. During the MotoGP pre-season test at the Mandalika Circuit which was held from 11 to 13 February 2022, it turned out that many riders were indirectly promoting tourism in Lombok.

"Alhamdulillah, the existence of this pre-season event or MotoGP pre-season test, NTB is a blessing. We get free tourism promotion from the riders. They walk in the bubble area and promote the beauty of Mandalika, Lombok," said the Head of the NTB Provincial Tourism Office. H Yusron Hadi quoted by Antara, Sunday, February 13.

He stated that the pre-season test brought various positive impacts for NTB, not only for the tourism sector but also in terms of economic growth.

"This event has a lot of benefits for NTB, including in terms of tourism promotion and economic growth. Moreover, in the future there will definitely be more gates for promotion. So we all have to be prepared," he said.

The head of the Central Lombok Regency Tourism Office, Lendek Jayadi, said the same thing. He said the MotoGP moment was a powerful tourist promotion moment.

"This MotoGP moment is a great promotional moment, especially with the help of the riders, of course we have to create an extraordinary regional image," he said.

For this reason, his party invites all stakeholders and the community to continue to build tourism destinations in NTB to spoil the eyes of tourists.

"Let's build a tourism destination together to spoil the eyes of tourists who come to visit NTB," he said.
