Bad News For McDonald's Lovers, No More Big Fries Starting Tomorrow

JAKARTA - McDonald's fast food restaurant announced that it will not sell large-sized french fries menus to its customers. Through a tweet on his official Twitter account, @McDonalds_ID said this would only be temporary. In addition, customers can still enjoy the medium french fries menu.

"Due to the limited availability of French Fries at the moment, starting February 2, Large French Fries are temporarily unavailable. But don't worry McD'ers, you can still enjoy your favorite menu with Medium French Fries."

However, McDonald's did not say how long this restriction would last.

"Hopefully we can give you some good news as soon as the Large French Fries are available again. Be patient, McD'ers."

The types of potatoes used by McDonald's to make French fries are Pentland Dell, Russet Burbank, Ivory Russet, Innovator and Shepody where these types are global imports of potatoes.

Previously, this restriction on the fried potato menu also occurred in Malaysia and Japan, which are suspected of facing major disruptions due to the corona virus pandemic, causing shortages of goods ranging from food to electronics.
