JAKARTA - SOE Minister Erick Thohir revealed that BUMN is now a large aircraft carrier that unites all parties to build an economic balance.

"BUMN is a third of Indonesia's economic strength, so if BUMN becomes an ivory tower, it is pleasing to the eye but uncomfortable to hold because it is hard. The Minister of SOEs said that SOEs also support business growth for all, but SOEs must also ensure the welfare of their people. Therefore, SOEs dare to build ecosystems, for example the Prosperous Program ecosystem that has been running.

"I make sure that the current BUMN is different from the previous BUMN, because the philosophy was that we wanted to knit and we didn't want to be an ivory tower," said Erick Thohir.

Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir said that SOEs were trying to become a locomotive, with the private sector not competing. BUMN does not want to be an ivory tower, but it is natural for our farmers to make sure their lives are better.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir said his ministry wants farmers to have a more prosperous life through the Makmur program.

Erick wants the welfare of the farmers to increase where the lands belonging to the farmers are not lost, so that their families are prosperous and their children can go to school.
