JAKARTA - Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) of Aceh Province has added 55 automated teller machines (ATMs) for cash withdrawals, Cash Recycling Machines/CRMs in an effort to provide excellent service to customers in the area.

"We continue to improve services to all customers in Aceh, one of which is replacing existing ATMs with new ones," said BSI Aceh Regional CEO Wisnu Sunandar in Banda Aceh, quoted from Antara, Saturday, January 22.

The statement was made on the sidelines of receiving a visit from the Chair of PWI Aceh Nasir Nurdin accompanied by Deputy Chair for Welfare Muhammad Saman, Deputy Secretary II Abdul Hadi, Deputy Treasurer Dian Fatayati, Secretary of the Personal Welfare Section, and Secretary of the Organization & Membership Section Reza Gunawan.

He explained that currently there are 700 BSI ATMs spread throughout Aceh and around 223 ATMs have been replaced with new ones and for CRM machines totaling 58 units throughout Aceh.

"This change is also part of providing the best service to all customers in Aceh," he said.

In 2022, his party will also add ATM machines at a number of other points.

"Nationally, BSI ordered 1,050 ATM units and 20 percent of them were for the Aceh region," he said.

He also said the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Aceh Province was a strategic partner of BSI.

"Support from the media is very important for BSI to build perceptions and disseminate information to the entire community," he said.

His party is ready to synergize and collaborate with PWI Aceh in providing education to the public regarding various banking products at the bank.
