JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has released a report related to vaccine spending for the period throughout 2021. Through the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani, it was stated that the value of vaccine spending reached Rp. 33.2 trillion.
"The budget is used to procure 310.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine," he said when holding a physical press conference in Jakarta, Monday, January 3.
In detail, the Minister of Finance explained that 161.1 million doses of the first dose of vaccine had been injected. Then, for the second dose of vaccine, 113.7 million doses have been distributed.
"As for the third dose of vaccine, 1.3 million doses have been injected," he said.
To note, the vaccine spending budget is included in the goods expenditure scheme in the 2021 State Budget. Until the close of this year, the realization of goods expenditures was IDR 525.4 trillion or 145.7 percent of the ceiling.
Meanwhile, the total realization of the entire state expenditure was recorded at IDR 2,786.8 trillion, higher than the provisions of the 2021 APBN Law which was planned at IDR 2,750 trillion.
