Strengthening Business Continuity, Bank Mandiri Targets Millennial Investors

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk. It is said that they are making efforts to attract millennial investors through holding the Closing Ceremony Mandiri Trading Challenge as well as the Capital Market Introduction Webinar.

Executive Vice President Region V Jakarta 3 Bank Mandiri Sulaeman explained that this activity was the culmination of a series of Mandiri Goes to Campus activities that began in September 2021.

"Through this agenda, we want to provide education about the basics of stock investment and the world of capital markets as well as stock trading training to students at five selected private universities (PTS) in Indonesia," he said in a press statement, Friday, November 12.

Some of the selected campuses include Perbanas Institute, Dian Nuswantoro University and President University.

"We highly appreciate the participants and congratulate the winners. We hope that this activity can help encourage a culture of investment literacy in Indonesia, especially for the younger generation," he said. According to Sulaeman, the Mandiri Goes to Campus event could increase business opportunities as well as generate students' enthusiasm so that they dare to face challenges, be open to advances in digital technology and business opportunities in investing in stocks and the capital market.

“Bank Mandiri always strives to provide the best service for customers. Through the Mandiri Goes to Campus program as well as the Kopra super platform service, we want to become a center for information and financial transaction activities for corporate customers, including universities," he explained.

On the same occasion, Mandiri Sekuritas Retail and Treasury Director Theodora Manik said that his party is committed to continuing to support digital transformation by developing capital market financial services.
