Ustaz Das'ad Latief was angry because of the viral video of Nikita praying loudly and laughing at the end. Nikita herself has denied the authenticity of the video and called the video just a snippet.

So who is Ustaz Das'ad Latif?

Ustaz Das'ad Latief is apparently a lecturer and researcher at Hasanudin University with scientific specifications in public relations. He was born in Makassar on December 21, 1973. His role in the world of da'wah is not arbitrary because he often appears on television and social media.

Ustaz Das'ad Latif married a woman named Naurah Shiddiqiah bint Nasrum Hamdat when his wife was 16 years old.

His wife was introduced during a mass wedding at Darul Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School, Maros. In 2013, Ustaz Das'ad Latif ran as Mayor of Makassar in a pair with Tamsil Linrung. Too bad he wasn't chosen.
