JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs invites local governments to propose new data on recipients of social assistance. This has been regulated in the Minister of Social Affairs Regulation No. 13/2011 regarding data originating from the regions.

"So please let the regions propose, I'm trying to get those who are already strong economically and out of poverty. So that later they need new data, those who need attention," said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, September 21.

Risma said Committee III DPD will work together for programs at the Ministry of Social Affairs, one of which is for proposals for recipients of social assistance data.

In the meeting, it was suggested that honorary teachers be able to receive social assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs to be recorded in the Integrated Social Welfare Data.

"Actually, the proposals are good, so there are many. Indeed, I know myself, the former regional head knows that many honorary teachers in Surabaya can add social assistance but with the APBD (Regional Expenditure Revenue Budget," said Risma.

Risma said that she did not actually reject the proposal, but emphasized that the proposal to return the social assistance recipients came from the regions.
