Anies Baswedan Mourns The Late Sunarti Sri Hadiyah In-laws Of SBY: God Willing, Husnulkhatimah

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan mourns the late Sunarti Sri Hadiyah, the mother-in-law of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Anies condolences to the extended family.

"We express our condolences for the death of Sunarti Sri Hadiyah's mother and pray, God willing, the spirit of the late Husnulkhatimah, the reward will be multiplied, her place will be glorified with God," Anies told reporters, Monday, September 20 evening.

In Anies' knowledge, the late Sarwo Edhie Wibowo, Sunarti Sri Hidayah's husband, was a front-line fighter when the Indonesian people faced communist forces.

“And behind the Sarwo Edhie fighter there is a woman, a companion who has extraordinary support so that all of us Indonesians today feel the life of Pancasila and victory when faced with communist forces at that time. We pray that the family will be given fortitude, strength and God willing, they can continue the struggle and the great name of the family of the late Mr. Sarwo Edhie Wibowo," said Anies Baswedan.

Sunarti Sri Hadiyah, wife of the late General TNI (Ret.) Sarwo Edhie Wibowo died at 17.45 WIB.

The body was first buried at the funeral home in Condet Baru, Batu Ampar, East Jakarta. The body will be brought to Purworejo tonight.
