BANYUWANGI - Police have secured a white Honda Brio car containing 40 thousand lobster seeds on Jalan Raya Dusun Curahpalung, Purwoharjo, Banyuwangi. The car was left by the owner on the side of the road.

"It is true that 1 unit of the Brio car has no owner left on the side of the road," Banyuwangi Police Public Relations Head Iptu Lita Kurniawan said, Tuesday, August 3.

The discovery began with reports from local people about a car parked on the side of the road.

After that, the officers inspected the car.

When searched, the police found three large Styrofoam boxes which contained lobster seeds.

"It contains approximately 40,000 individuals. We will then secure the evidence at the Purwoharjo Police," he said.

The police, said Lita, are still investigating the findings. Including chasing who owns the car and the lobster seeds.

He said the sale of lobster seeds was prohibited according to Law Number 45 of 2009 concerning Fisheries.
