Attorney General's Office Calls 16 Witnesses in MBG Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The team of investigators from the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) summoned 16 witnesses in the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for 2025-2026 today.

As reported by ANTARA, the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, detailed that the 16 witnesses were IDMAKN as an expert on the BGN, MK as a partner of the West Pejaten Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), and GW as the Financial Officer of PT NGS.

Then, the Director of PT MDT, Director of PT AJS, Director of PT WMB, Director of PT ACG, Director of PT BCS, Director of PT BMA, Director of PT EC, Director of PT SSA, Director of PT MHT, and Director of PT MTS.

Finally, the PRL Foundation, the Chairman of the HJC and HJM Foundation, and MHN as a private party.

Anang said that the examination of the witnesses on Monday, August 10, was carried out to strengthen the evidence and complete the investigation in the corruption case.

"The investigation process will continue to be carried out professionally, independently, and accountable while upholding the principles of the presumption of innocence and the principle of caution," he said.

The Attorney General's Office has named seven suspects in the MBG governance corruption case, namely the former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana; former Deputy Head of BGN for Organizational Development and Institutional Relations Lodewyk Pusung; former Deputy Head of BGN for Operational Nutrition Fulfillment Sony Sonjaya; Asep Yusuf Soemantri as a private party; Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal Andri Mulyono; Glory Harimas Sihombing as a private party; and LMI as Deputy Secretary for Promotion and Cooperation of BGN.
